I am a 28-year-old director and screenwriter based in Helsinki, Finland.

I graduated from Metropolia UAS with a bachelor's degree in filmmaking in 2021. My self-funded graduation film, Primal Therapy, was selected to over 30 festivals, and it won multiple awards, e.g., at Tampere Film Festival and Cottbus Film Festival. I am currently working on multiple projects in fiction and comedy, most recently a comedy sketch series with LuodoMedia and Yle.

 

I have an affinity for comedy and absurdity. The former offers a way to address serious topics in an entertaining way, while the latter can create something relatable yet totally unexpected. I believe that laughter has the power to unify diverse audiences, and directing it toward forms of societal dissonance can be very revealing.
