I'm a 29-year-old director and screenwriter based in Helsinki, Finland.

I graduated from Metropolia UAS with a bachelor's degree in filmmaking in 2021. As my graduation film, I self-funded, wrote, and directed Primal Therapya short film that was screened at over 30 festivals globally and received awards from festivals such as Tampere Film Festival and Cottbus Film Festival. The film is currently streaming on Yle Areena. My other work includes writing and directing two seasons of Spiraali, a short-form comedy series that explores the climate crisis and capitalism. It was one of the most-watched series on Areena Stories, Yle’s platform for short-form content on social media, and is currently also streaming on Yle Areena. In 2021, I participated in the Uneton48 short film competition as a writer and director, and received the Jury Award, Best Screenplay, and Best Acting with a short film Kulkukortti.

I have an affinity for comedy and absurdity. The former offers a way to address serious topics in an entertaining way, while the latter can create something relatable yet totally unexpected. I believe that laughter has the power to unify diverse audiences, and directing it toward forms of societal dissonance can be very revealing.

I'm currently working on multiple projects, including directing an upcoming TV series Tutkapari for Yle, which is set to premiere in 2026. I am also constantly developing new concepts. When I'm not making films, you can find me doing music and photography.

I always enjoy meeting new people to collaborate with—so if you have a project, or just want to grab a coffee, reach out!
