I'm a 30-year-old freelance director and screenwriter based in Helsinki, Finland.

My short film Primal Therapy (2021) toured over 30 international festivals and received multiple awards, including the Audience Award at Tampere Film Festival and a Special Prize for Directing at Cottbus Film Festival. After two years exclusively on Yle Areena, the film is now available on YouTube.

In 2024–2025 I wrote and directed two seasons of Spiraali, a comedy miniseries exploring climate change and capitalism. The series became one of the most popular titles on Areena Stories and is also streaming on Yle Areena.

In 2025 I directed an upcoming youth comedy series for Yleisradio, produced by Just Republic, set to premiere in 2026.

I’m also directing a series this summer (2026) for Yle, to be announced.

I enjoy working with comedy and absurdity as ways to explore serious themes. I’m drawn to stories where humor reveals social contradictions and unexpected sides of human behavior. I’m also interested in directing scripts by other writers. I enjoy finding the core of a story and bringing it to life. Whether it’s drama or comedy, the line between them is often thin.

I’m always developing new projects and enjoy meeting new collaborators. If you have a project in mind, or simply want to grab a coffee and talk ideas, feel free to reach out!
